Overview

‍An excellent opportunity has come up to join a well-established Commercial Insurance business in Sunderland who are currently going through an exciting period of growth. As an Insurance Sales Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for new and existing customers and responsible for discussing products, setting up loans and obtaining quotes. Mon-Fri only with realistic opportunity to earn c£400+ commission per month. This role could suit a candidate from perhaps retail or kitchen sales, or a call centre environment with a sales focus.

‍Responsibilities‍

• Handling incoming calls, ensuring excellent customer service is given.
• Building positive relationships and providing competitive quotes.
• Identifying additional sales opportunities and moving through to completion.
• Liaising with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes.
• Using online portals to organise and set up loans.
• Making adjustments to existing insurance policies to suit customer requirements.
• Focus on motor fleet and liability policies.

Requirements‍

• A minimum educational standard of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths grades A*- C (or equivalent)
• Strong IT Skills with the ability to learn new software
• Sales focus, along with clear and professional telephone manner
• Friendly and persuasive communicator who can build relationships easily
• Strong organisation and problem-solving skills
• Previous Insurance experience advantageous but not essential
